What is The Lounge?
The Lounge is a web IRC client that you host on your own server. It's the official, community-managed fork of @erming's great initiative, the
Shout project. This fork aims to be community managed, meaning that the decisions are taken in a collegial fashion, and that a bunch of maintainers should be able to make the review process quicker and more streamlined.

Comments and Reviews
Very stable project. My only wish about it it would be too see more active development (more releases). If you have more than 30-40 channels it may be bit inconvenient to use.
Awesome piece of software - FOSS Irccloud alternative
Yeah, and with far better uptime than irccloud. I used to pay for irccloud and due to numerous outages, including one that was like 24h, I switched to thelounge. I have no love for running my own services due to lack of time, but in this case it was needed, uptime on irc is critical for me as that is my work IM.
