This Program—Similar to Other Notes Keepers (& “Journals”)––“The Journal” Maintains your Note Names in a Hierarchical List—Similar to OneNote. After Very Thorough Testing of Both “The Journal” & OneNote, “The Journal” is simply the Best Notes-Keeper that I have ever used.

In Addition to being Suitable for a HUGE Database of Notes, MANY people also find it to be an Outstanding Daily Journal – For Two Reasons: •The Journal will arrange your daily notes by its internal Calendaring feature; AND •It Also provides Excellent Encryption of the entire Database. However, since I personally use “The Journal” as an Outstanding Knowledgebase, I do not make use of the Calendaring Features.

A bit more pricey than some other alternatives, The Journal has an elegant interface that is easy on the eyes. Basic features are easy to learn quickly, but provides most of the power of writing tools such as Microsoft Word. Superfast searching, encryption, and much more. Well design alternative databases are available such as "memory keeper" (scrapbook), address book (a KM version), and more. This tool has been under development for over a decade and is bug free and well designed.
