What is Textlore?

Textlore is a Mac app that finds any message in your iMessage history in seconds. Search as you type with filters for person, date, photos, and links. You can also browse every photo and file people sent you. Additionally, you can export any conversation to PDF, HTML, CSV, or Markdown.

The app's Version 1.1 adds Recs and Promises. This feature allows Apple's on-device AI to read your iMessage and WhatsApp chats and lists every book, show, restaurant, and app friends told you to try. It also keeps track of every promise you made and whether you kept it.

Everything runs on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, and the app never sends or changes a message. Textlore offers a 14-day free trial, after which it costs $29 once.
