Terra Dominum is a game just like E-Republik, though without the severe premium issues. I honestly did not give this game a fair chance. I wasn't that interested in the game when I discovered the United States of America, the country I wanted to be a citizen of, was already long gone, utterly destroyed. I hated this because I was now a citizen of a non-existent nation. No president or anything of the sort. Why would the game let me become a US citizen if the US was gone? The community around the game is slowly dying,.The US is a prime example as the president of the US left in the first 74 days of the game's release. The game is currently at day 244. It's been over 100 days since the developers have last updated the game. Just like E-republik, the game has become imbalanced due to a lack of players in other countries. If you want to succeed, you'll pick a nation with a lot of players. the US fell purely because the president abandoned it, and all other players either left or joined a different country. Honestly, if the game just got a complete restart, back to day one, the game would probably be an alright E-Republik successor, but until that day occurs, I can't recommend the game.
