Comments and Reviews
A much needed and helpful service. Most big tech companies seem to make their Terms of Service very hard to read. That's why Tos;DR is so useful. Because unpaid contributors do have to make most of the summaries, there are a lot of the Terms of Service for smaller companies/apps that aren't in the database. That being said, Tos;DR is very good at simplifying the Terms of Service for many different apps and services.
Very helpful servise!
fr/en _ _ un bienfait de l'humanité ni plus, ni moins
_ _ a benefit for humanity no more, no less
It could be useful, but it appears to be limited in scope. I tried searching for Notion or TickTick and got either no answer or an inadequate one.
TOS;DR may sound useful but it's now obsolete since most terms of service have become more readable. It's best to read the official TOS instead of third-party resources.
But most people aren't going to cover the nook and corner of every service they sign-up for. TOSDR provides a brief summary of what you are about to get yourself into. Generating awareness is more important than convincing yourself that every person is as big of a nerd as you are.
Just check it out, great simplification of TOS!
