TDesk is a UK-hosted web hosting control panel that bundles the server, storage and bandwidth with the panel software in a single subscription. It covers the functions of a traditional panel such as cPanel or Plesk (websites, email, DNS, SSL and databases) and adds domain registration and customer billing, removing the need for a separate VPS, registrar account or billing system such as WHMCS. It can run on TDesk's own UK cloud infrastructure or on a customer-supplied AlmaLinux 9 server.
Hosting: four modes per domain (website, redirect, mail/DNS-only or online shop), PHP 7.4 to 8.3 selectable per site, MySQL and PostgreSQL, per-customer Linux user isolation with dedicated PHP-FPM pools, file manager, per-customer SFTP, and encrypted off-site backups with 30-day retention. Adding a domain automatically sets up DNS, mail, DKIM, virtual host and a Let's Encrypt certificate.
Domains and DNS: .uk registration direct via Nominet, 1,000+ other TLDs via Enom, transfers, auto-renewal, WHOIS privacy, three authoritative nameservers on separate networks, domain parking pages, and dropcatching of expiring .uk domains.
Email and security: mailboxes, aliases, forwarders and webmail, with the MXGuard AI antispam gateway included (machine-learning classifier, DNSBL and URIBL checks, SPF/DKIM/DMARC/ARC, ClamAV, quarantine and daily digests). Also includes signup fraud screening, web application firewall, fail2ban, automatic banning of brute-force and bot traffic, DDoS alerts and two-factor authentication.
Ecommerce and billing: online shop on any domain with storefront themes, cart and checkout, Stripe and PayPal payments, built-in VAT-aware invoicing with recurring billing, and reseller support with custom client plans and quotas.
Other: live chat widget with optional AI chatbot, VoIP telephony with UK numbers, and a Task Centre for domain expiries, unpaid invoices, failed backups and service alerts.
