Tangerin AI

Tangerin AI is a Brazilian AI governance platform for enterprises. It answers a question most organizations cannot answer today: which artificial-intelligence tools - IT-approved or not (Shadow AI) - are being used inside the company, by whom, at what data risk, and with what evidence to show an auditor.

Collection happens through two paths that can be combined: a lightweight agent installed on endpoints (Windows, macOS and Linux), or agentlessly by ingesting logs from existing NGFW, SSE and SIEM systems. Every signal is resolved against a proprietary catalog of more than 6,000 AI tools that records data risk, processing country, retention policy and whether the vendor trains on customer data.

From there, each tool is scoped by company policy as allowed, restricted or prohibited; employees digitally sign the AI usage policy; and the compliance module covers 24 pre-configured regulatory frameworks - including LGPD, ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, BACEN 4.893, SUSEP 638 and ANS RN 452 - with automatic crosswalk of evidence across equivalent frameworks, per-control evidence attachments and a tokenized external-auditor view. Every prohibited or unclassified tool becomes an owned, deadlined task with an SLA in the Action Plan, auto-resolved once it disappears from the environment.

The platform records which tool was used, when, and on which workstation. It never collects conversation content, prompts or files sent to AI tools - an architectural decision, not a setting.
