Best manga app for Android
As of version 0.15.2 the Tachiyomi github purged it's extension repository of all extensions for third party sites.
The main branch of Tachiyomi has the largest open source community compared to it's branches or other similar apps. Because of this, third party extensions hosted in the official repository, maintained by the community, and scrutinized by many eyes, could be "trusted" to a certain extent.
This purge forces users to find third party extensions from repositories that have a smaller open source community and are therefore more likely to be infected, buggy, or privacy-compromising than before.
Also because of the possible backlash from this abrupt change, the Tachiyomi reddit and Discord have been locked.
This purge and subsequent lockdown with absolutely no input from the community at large not only could compromise user's security, but totally goes against the principals of being Free Open Source Software in the first place.
It's now officially discontinued. :-[ https://tachiyomi.org/news/2024-01-13-goodbye
Updates: The Tachiyomi main branch will no longer be maintained but a clone that aims to take over the project named Mihon is in the works. The TachiyomiSY and TachiyomiAZ branches are still being maintained, and will move over to being downstream of Mihon once that gets started up. Out of the box extensions will still be gone but it appears the community has mostly united around one extension repository in named Keiyoushi.
Some released forks have been added. Feel free to vote for them if you feel like it.

Tachiyomi was sued into oblivion by a company who disliked the fact that users use the app to read from their site without seeing their ads. Go use Mihon instead. It's an open-source fork of Tachiyomi with feature parity. Long live FOSS.
It was the best, now a legend... O7
One of, if not the best application to read manga from different sources. No ads, no registration, notifications about new chapters, saving locally as ebook\comic reader compatible formats, nsfw warnings and tags filtering etc.
