What is Stringout?

Organize and assemble footage without uploading it. Private AI runs on your devices to make a timeline that opens in Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

Find shots by describing what’s in them, search spoken words, and transcribe entire interviews. Search indexed drives even when they’re unplugged, then reconnect the one you need. Sync picture and sound, review selects, and keep every chosen moment linked to its source.

Pro codecs are supported, including ARRIRAW, BRAW, R3D, and ProRes on your existing storage. A built-in MCP server lets compatible AI assistants search your library and help assemble your cut.

Give remote editors a prepared project with selects and edit media available in Finder. With File Streaming, they can work in their NLE and return supported edits as project versions.

The Free plan includes unlimited on-device AI and transcription, with libraries of up to 100,000 files.

Pro adds File Streaming, Team Sync, priority support, and libraries of up to 1,000,000 files for $24 per seat per month.
