What is StreamXLS?

StreamXLS is a Windows Excel add-in for Interactive Brokers customers. It connects to IBKR's Trader Workstation (TWS) or IB Gateway through the TWS API and streams live account, position, order, and market data directly into Excel cells using Excel's built-in RTD engine — no VBA or coding required.

Values update in place as the market moves, so ordinary Excel formulas become live dashboards: portfolio trackers, P&L monitors, and order views built from your own IBKR data rather than a separate market-data subscription. StreamXLS is production-hardened for daily trading use, including automatic reconnection when TWS restarts or the connection drops. Sold as a monthly or annual subscription with a 30-day free trial.
