A list of Matrix clients. Why? While the Matrix protocol is excellent in decentralization and E2EE, it is not for your average user. It is a highly technical platform.

Strafe is a great free, open-source chat platform that allows people to express themselves freely and connect with others. If you don't want your speech or data to be controlled by Big Tech, then Strafe is for you!
Strafe is pretty cool, I would give four stars but Bryden would hurt me (I'm locked in his basement). The developers are chill dudes who have a passion for free speech and open source.
Strafe is amazing, Like the developers are chill. Performs similar to discord. A really good alternative - if you like sense of ownership over your data and fully open sourced applications - Strafe is a good app for you!
