What is Store App Audit?

Store App Audit is a free, open-source desktop utility for auditing Android apps against Google Play. It reads installed-app inventories through read-only ADB, audits APK/APKS/APKM/XAPK files and complete folders, and imports CSV/TSV/TXT package lists.

It compares installed or local versions with Store availability, versions and update dates, classifies maintenance/freshness, and records changes between audits. Local APK management includes batch renaming. Search, filters, Smart Queries, privacy-safe Personal Device profiles and separate layouts support repeated audits. Results export to CSV, HTML or versioned JSON. Both GUI and CLI/headless workflows are available.

Windows, Linux and macOS builds support x64 and ARM64. The project's own code is GPL-3.0-only, with no first-party telemetry. Google Play checks require network access. Maintenance Score measures freshness, not malware safety. Windows/Linux packages are unsigned; macOS uses ad-hoc signing and is not Developer ID signed or notarized.

The Local APK workflow was partly inspired by LocalAPK. This is an independent implementation, not a fork or an affiliated or official successor.
