What is Stickies?
Stickies is a PC utility written to replace Post-It-style notes left stuck to your monitor. The design goal behind Stickies is that the program is small and simple. Stickies will not mess with your system files, or write to the Registry. Stickies stores all information in a single text-based INI file. Stickies will never support animated dancing figures, or play "Greensleeves". They are instead yellow rectangular windows onto which you can put some text notes. Once created, they will stay on screen until you take them away. Just like a real sticky piece of paper.
Version 6.7a includes an API to allow integration with other programs, and other bug-fixes and enhancements.

lightweight yet packed with features
I loved Stickies on Win 7 and 10. The installer won't work on Win 11 though. Since Win 11 has been around for 8 months, I can only assume that Stickies is a dead project.
Stikies is an incredibly convenient program for managing notes. It offers the ability to customize each individual sticky note, control groups of notes, and has a button to bring them to the forefront or send them back. You can add or remove scrollbars in a note, zoom in on text with the mouse, and even insert images. All your important information is always at your fingertips.
easy use, but not friendly to change image size in note
This program is amazing. It has everything I need. It's more than just a note for your desktop. I use it for notes and for reminders. More than that you could set different options how often your reminder will pop up and so on. A lot of great options in this simple program.

The only thing that does not allow this program to be perfect is the lack of Linux support. Apart from that it is perfect
