STDU Explorer is a piece of software that offers you the opportunity to work with image files (support psd, bmp, png, gif, pcx, jpeg, wmf formats) and e-books in DjVu, PDF, FB2, JBIG2, XPS, DCX, WWF, PDB, CBR and CBZ formats. This application helps you quickly view and find books or image files.
STDU Explorer supports standard operations such as moving, copying, pasting, renamming, deleting, etc. But its possibilities are much wider:
Extended representation of files list, with adjustable thumbnails size. Fast preview any page of multipage documents. Fast access to a tree of bookmarks in PDF, XPS, FB2 or DjVu files. This features make STDU Explorer one of the best software for work with images and documents.
STDU Explorer is free for non-commercial uses.

I'm not having quite the experience as the images shown, but I don't know of any other explorer that will let you view PDFs like this.
