What is Statable WCAG Checker?
Statable WCAG Checker is a free accessibility extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Open the side panel and the page you are looking at is checked against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA using axe-core, the same engine behind most automated accessibility tools.
Every finding points to a rule: the checker shows which success criterion is affected, which elements fail it, and links to the fix. Affected elements are highlighted on the page so you can see the problem in context. It works on password-protected and local pages because the analysis happens entirely in your browser.
The extension makes no network requests of its own, has no telemetry and stores nothing. No account is needed. Requires Chrome 116+, Edge 116+ or Firefox 140+.
