Statable is a free, open-source statistics program that runs entirely in the web browser - on computers, tablets and phones, without installation or account. You open your data (Excel, CSV, OpenDocument, SPSS .sav, Stata .dta, SAS), choose a research question such as "Do groups differ?", and Statable suggests a suitable method, checks the assumptions, runs the analysis and writes the result as a plain sentence and as an APA line.
The calculations use GNU PSPP, the free counterpart to SPSS, and R, both compiled to WebAssembly. The data never leaves the device. Results were checked against SPSS 32 and R.
Statable covers more than 60 types of analyses: t-tests, ANOVA, nonparametric tests, correlation, linear, logistic, ordinal and multilevel regression, factor analysis, reliability, structural equation models, meta-analysis, survival analysis, power analysis and mixed-methods tools. Results export to Word, Excel and PDF. The interface is available in 15 languages, and an offline package runs without internet.
