Stackboard replaces the Chrome new tab page with a board of bookmarks. Links are grouped into spaces (for example Work or Reading) and stacks, which are titled columns inside a space.
You can copy in your bookmarks bar with one click: each folder becomes a stack and the originals stay where they are. Starter packs (Everyday, Developer, Design, Study, Work) are also included.
Stash a whole window with one click or Alt+Shift+S. Every tab is saved as a bookmark, one stack per tab group, and a stack can be reopened later as a named tab group.
Other features: drag and drop for bookmarks, stacks and spaces; search across all spaces (press / to focus it); undo for deletes; saving the current page from the toolbar button; keys 1-9 to jump between spaces. Bookmarks that are already open in a tab get a dot, and clicking one switches to that tab.
Appearance: Catppuccin, Gruvbox, Nord and Stackboard palettes, light, dark or system mode, gradients or your own background image, and a compact layout.
All data is stored as regular Chrome bookmarks under Other bookmarks > Stackboard, so it syncs through your Google account, works offline and stays in place if the extension is removed. It needs no account and has no server, analytics or site access. Export and import as JSON from Settings.
