Lets you skip not only sponsorship segments, but all sort of things (cosmetic beginning or endcard of video, joke segments etc.) in youtube videos based on community contributed database
A must-have extension to block ads/sponsors on YouTube, along with
uBlock Origin.
A must-have along with an adblocker in the modern day. More advertisers are moving into in-video sponsorships to get around the adblocking - and that's where SponsorBlock comes into play. Through user-submitted segments, sections of the video bar will be color-coded to indicate what type of bullshit is happening there. Intros, outros, sponsorships, & tangent auto-skips are just a few options.
The only catch is that because this relies upon user submissions, brand new videos or niche, low-viewed videos may not have auto-skips.
YouTube is unwatchable without this. Constant begging for like/subscribe/hit that notification bell/comment down below/join our patreon... it just goes on and on. With a couple of clicks you can remove all that nonsense.
It lets you skip sponsored segments in yt videos. You can even skip filler segments. One can even add new segments to help others.
It's the future of ad-blocking.
A great extension that block sponsors when you watch videos.
