Splitz

Splitz is an expense-sharing app for friends, roommates, couples, and trips, available on iPhone, iPad, and Android. Expenses can be split equally, by exact amount, or item by item from a scanned receipt. Its receipt scanner extracts individual lines and discounts, allowing group members to assign purchased items to the relevant people. Three receipt scans are included for free; unlimited scanning requires Splitz Pro.

Group balances update in real time across iOS and Android. The app calculates simplified repayments to show who owes whom, without processing payments itself; repayments can be made through the participants' usual method and then recorded in the app. Splitz supports recurring expenses such as rent, bills, and subscriptions, as well as 139 currencies with daily exchange rates for international trips.

Groups and expenses have no stated free-tier limit. Members can be invited by link, join without an account, or be added as guests before installing the app. Splitz is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese. Data is hosted in the EU and handled in accordance with GDPR; receipt photos are deleted after their information is extracted.
