SpiffWorkflow Application is a complete business workflow automation platform built on top of the popular open source SpiffWorkflow library. SpiffWorkflow allows end users to create simple flow-chart diagrams and spreadsheets that can then be executed to solve many common business problems. For example, SpiffWorkflow can be used to manage highly complex approval processes such as those related to medical research. It can be used to track efforts across teams or to build intuitive wizard-like interfaces that simplify highly complex tasks like completing a federal tax return in US.
