Speccy is not available for Linux but there are a few alternatives that runs on Linux with similar functionality. The best open source Linux alternative is CPU-X (by X0rg). lshw (Hardware Lister) is a small tool to provide detailed information on the hardware configuration of the machine.





Gives complete information on system hardware. Just pipe it to less to browse the information. Speccy formats this information well, but lshw seems to have as much info if you take the time to read it.
