What is Spade?
Use Spade to draw your ideas, notes, and thoughts anywhere and save them for later. Spade provides a toolbar on every webpage for drawing, marking down important information with a pen, highlighter, and text box. Your annotations are saved to the cloud and can be organized into folders on our website. You can download annotated web pages as PDFs and share them with others. All features are free but require login.
Spade's tools include a pen with shape detection, highlight, textboxes, an edit tool for moving and resizing annotations, keyboard shortcuts for switching tools, undoing, and redoing, and options for color, font size, and font change.
Spade's features allow you to save annotations to the cloud, organize annotations into folders, annotate PDFs by uploading them to our site, export annotations to PDF, and draw on touchscreen/mobile devices.
