What is Soundop?

Soundop is a Windows-based audio editing software with features for recording, editing, mastering, and mixing audio. It offers waveform and spectral editing, and supports unlimited audio and bus tracks. Soundop's engine supports sends, side-chain, and automatic latency compensation, and each track comes with an FX rack for effect parameter automation.

The software includes built-in effects and supports VST and VST3 effect plug-ins. It can create composite effects and is compatible with ASIO, WASAPI, MME, and DirectSound drivers. Soundop supports 24-bit recording up to 192 kHz and can load audio from various formats. It can also export audio with metadata like ID3 Tag, RIFF Chunk, Vorbis Comment, and ACID loop. A CD track editor is included for burning audio to CDs.

Soundop supports multiple audio formats, multitrack recording, and 32-bit precision audio data processing. Users can apply effects like normalization, gain envelop, noise reduction, and time stretch. Real-time audio effects include compressor, limiter, chorus, flanger, phaser, parametric EQ, reverb, etc. The workspace is customizable and allows for multiple mixing projects or audio files to be open concurrently.
