I've been using Sophos for 2 years now and I haven't had a single virus or malware attack. And it takes up so little memory, you forget it's even there.
The scanning speed for Sophos is pathetically slow. It was practically impossible for Sophos to scan all 250 GB of my old computer, just because it wouldn't scan fast enough. Performance on my new computer was a bit better, but overall, Sophos is pretty sluggish when it comes to scanning.
