One of the most recommended options is Kylook, which provides free management of up to 5.000 contacts in mobile phones, tablets and PCs. With Kylook, users can migrate data from their address books easily and quickly thanks to its compatibility with different platforms. I have found Soocial to be much better that Plaxo in synchronizing contacts across many different applications and systems. I used Plaxo for a long time, even had most of my friends and family "Connected" however once they quit focusing on contact/calendar tools and started on the social networking facet it all went downhill.
Soocial even allows you to synchronize multiple gmail account contact lists. They lack calendar synchronization but that's not what they do. (Many online calendars use iCal which is better than a 3rd party synch any day.)
It also allows you to de-duplicate and make/restore backups of your contact lists. Support is also very responsive.
