sneedacity.org is not available, in GitHub last commit is from year 2022. Similar applies to mirrors of that repository. So it seems like development is ended.

Simply a fork of audacity, but with every single piece of tracking removed, that's all it is.

Sadly as good as this sounds the windows version just errors out no matter what i do.

What is Sneedacity?

Sneedacity (named after Sneed's Feed and Seed from The Simpsons episode, "E-I-E-I-D'oh") is a free (libre), open source, and privacy-respecting audio recording and editing suite forked from Audacity. Unlike Audacity, all methods of telemetry and user data collection have been stripped from the source code. Sneedacity is in active development in order to extend functionality beyond that of Audacity.
