Have tried other apps for enable smooth scrolling but this worked in every app that I use in my Mac (specially in Zen, a Firefox based browser where no other app worked well on). It's simple, the options are enough for a good experience and liked the way this improves the system feeling.

It's a handy app when using a mouse (excluding the Magic Mouse) on macOS. It makes scrolling smoother. You might wonder why you need an app to make scrolling smoother, but you'll see the difference when you try it. It's not a big deal, but it's a nice feature to have.

App works really well, the only issue I encountered is it sometimes work weird with particular programs (eg. games with zooming of camera are going from min zoom to max zoom), but disabling the SmoothScroll for the app often fixes this problems.

What a great app! When all other smooth scrolling apps like mos and a few others failed me when Mac OS updated to version 26, SmoothScroll came through and delivered. The app developer is on top of his game and knows how to make a very good application. The installation and setup process was very easy and the default settings were actually spot on, I barely had to adjust anything to make it feel how I wanted. Also while I'm gaming on geforce now, this app does not create any input lag or...

Smooth scroll is a great app, if you keep toggling between systems/ trackpad - mouse and you feel while scrolling on mouse it isn't smooth as trackpad, smoothscroll solves it all. On apps such games, Adobe, Figma - it doesn't have any disruptive behavior. I recommend giving this application a try. Very easy to install, very easy to use.

Comment summary: SmoothScroll is highly praised by users for enhancing scrolling on Mac devices, providing a fluid and customizable experience, especially on MacBook Air M1 models. Users appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness, noting it eliminates the need for more expensive hardware like the Apple Magic Mouse. However, some users suggest clearer setup instructions and adjustments for the app's settings. A notable concern is its misleading classification as Freemium instead of Trial.

SmoothScroll is listed as Freemium, but it's actually a 21-day trial, followed by an annual fee of €25.10. This should be classified as a Trial, not Freemium, which usually means a permanently free version is available.
