SmoothScroll has been a LIFESAVER. Honestly why did I not know about this sooner!? Kudos to the devs.

I've been using SmoothScroll Trial for a few weeks now and it honestly made a bigger difference than I expected. I use a regular mouse with my macbook and the scrolling always felt a bit jumpy before. After installing this, everything feels a lot more natural and controlled. I was so much in need of an app like this. It literally saved me from all those jitters during scrolling. Also there are sufficient customizations possible. All in all, loved the app, really good

I was in need of an app to smoothen out my bluetooth mouse scrolling on my MacBook. SmoothScroll suits my needs perfectly. I wasn't previously aware of the availability of a software like this - but I'm chuffed to have found it. The impact it has had on my computer usage has been really positive. Thanks for developing such a truly useful app.

As a software dev, I find SmoothScroll very effective and easy to use. It fixed my jumpy/flickering mouse wheel scrolling issues and makes long code navigation in IDEs like Visual Studio smoother and more precise. I like the minimalistic UI and useful pre-optimized preference options.

Comments and Reviews

Comment summary: SmoothScroll is highly praised by users for enhancing scrolling on Mac devices, providing a fluid and customizable experience, especially on MacBook Air M1 models. Users appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness, noting it eliminates the need for more expensive hardware like the Apple Magic Mouse. However, some users suggest clearer setup instructions and adjustments for the app's settings. A notable concern is its misleading classification as Freemium instead of Trial.

SmoothScroll is listed as Freemium, but it's actually a 21-day trial, followed by an annual fee of €25.10. This should be classified as a Trial, not Freemium, which usually means a permanently free version is available.

What I like most is that it doesn’t try to be complicated. The settings are straightforward and you can tweak things until it feels right for your setup. Took me a few minutes to dial it in, but once I did it just works in the background.

It’s one of those small utilities that quietly improves the whole experience of using the computer. Definitely glad I came across it.
