What is Sly?
Sly is a friendly image editor that requires no internet connection or preexisting expertise. Just open a photo and have at it.
The app allows you to adjust simple attributes like brightness or contrast as well as effects like a vignette or a border. It also allows you to flip, rotate and crop the image to your heart's desire.
When you're done, just export the photo as a JPEG or a PNG with the quality settings of your choosing. You also get a choice in whether or not to keep metadata such as location information.

Great for doing basics like crop, rotate, contrast, etc.

I am a professional photo editor, and I use darktable for precise color adjustments, and this app is just worst than lightroom in that regard. BUT if you want something simple and basic, it is a great option, just be aware, that it is really limited and the available tools are based on old and outdated photo editing practices...
