Slim Framework

Slim Framework is an open-source PHP micro-framework for building web applications and HTTP APIs. It provides routing for HTTP methods and URI patterns, middleware for processing requests and responses, PSR-7 HTTP message support, and compatibility with PSR-11 dependency-injection containers.

Slim is distributed through Composer and can be used with PHP’s built-in development server or another PHP-capable web server. The project provides documentation, a skeleton application, community support through Slack and Discourse, and a GitHub repository containing the framework source code. The official repository states that Slim is licensed under the MIT License.
