Skillshot Reader is a speed reading app built to help people read faster, manage information overwhelm, and fix slow reading speed. It was first created in 2023 by it's founder who was struggling to increase their reading speed.
The app can help boost reading speeds very quickly, but also is designed to help boost reading speeds even when reading outside of the app. For example, it could help with better reading when reading physical books, magazines, e-books, websites, and more. You can also upload PDFs and enter custom text. These PDFs and custom text can be loaded at any time, and your position is saved for later use. The user also can jump to any page in the PDF.
It's built with knowledge of reading psychology and research, making it scientifically backed, and quite advanced. It for example, utilizes RSVP and guided highlighting.
It's very fun to use, with a number of animation effects, and there are many customization options. You can customize exactly what speed you want to use it at. It has a beautiful night theme that makes it ideal for working at night, although it has a light theme option available as well.
It is a web app which is also mobile-optimized, so it can be used on desktop, laptop, Chrome, Firefox, Android, iPhones, macOS, and tablets.
