What is SketchMouse?

SketchMouse turns your Mac screen into a live annotation canvas for presentations, demos, and teaching. Spotlight dims your entire screen except where your cursor is — so your audience can only look where you're pointing. Pinch your trackpad to resize the spotlight in real time. Nine drawing tools let you annotate directly on your live screen: rectangles, ellipses, arrows, lines, brush, highlighter, eraser, and a countdown timer. Your apps keep running underneath. Looking Glass magnifies whatever's under your cursor, making small text and fine UI details readable for everyone watching. Thirteen Spark effects — confetti, fireworks, hearts, lightning, and more — fire on screen when you need energy or celebration. AI hand gesture recognition detects wave, thumbs-up, and peace sign through your Mac's camera and triggers on-screen animations. Runs entirely on-device, fully private. Works system-wide via global hotkeys. Multi-monitor support. Export annotated screens as PNG or PDF. Available in 8 languages. One-time purchase on the Mac App Store. No subscription.
