I've been using on and off for years - it never dissapointed me on my iPhone or iPad. Yes it cost's money, but its a one-time-payment and no subscription, which I like.
The Windows version is only available if you pay for the software. What a disappointment.
So quick to use and move around. Excellent!!!
Beautifully designed, easy to use, incredibly useful, will work on all your devices (I use it on my tablet, phone and pc), it's just awesome!
EPIC WIN. Has powerful features like being able to make hyperlinks to other maps.
Unlike XMind, it doesn't have predatory billing practices and subscription overcharge BS. Fair price for excellent software. Customer service is very informative at helping me find features.
Lets you use your own Cloud, unlike XMind which tried to make its own and charge for it.
Pay the devs who PLAY NICE. Buy the Pro version. It's 100% worth it, and you actually get to OWN the software. So glad I can enjoy this software long-term and not worry about price hikes to exploit customers. Support honest developers, not predatory business practice from other companies selling their overpriced software as a subscription.
Simplemind is the best! Powerful, affordable, fair, and great support. What more could you ask for? Power featuers for power users.

Not too expensive. Trial period with full version. Crossplatform. Not laggy like Xmind. Gave it 4 out of 5 because MindNode is also should have 5/5. But personally for me MindNode is slightly better, though it only for Mac.
Simple, program, it works fairly well on iOS, and on some Windows systems, but in Windows it lacks support for high definition monitors and as a consequence it can look blurry. On my Dell laptop it crashes if you try to remedy that by selecting "Override high DPI scaling behavior".
