Nice app. Good alternative to Algodoo as it provides with accurate calculations and a lots of more features then Algodoo. It also support 3D simulation that makes it more fascinating and also we can script on different elements in GUI that's a great tool for teaching.

What is SimPhy?

Simphy is a simulation software to create 2D and 3D simulations with easy drag and drop options. You can create different types of bodies inside its physics world with different parameters like restitution, friction, velocity etc. attach them with different types of Joints like spring, rope, chain, pulley etc. and can run the simulation to visualize their motion. Due to its native engine the accuracy in solving is great.

One can visualize the moton with the numerous built in tools like tracers of points on body or Body ghosting, Graphs between different parameters( like KE, speed, velocity, momentum, etc), FBD of grouped and ungrouped objects, Camera tool ( to set frame of reference) etc.

You can add different types of Forces in its environment as well, it supports gravitational , electric, magnetic and buoyancy fields. One can even set variable fields ( time dependent ) and can easily change the fields as well using sliders.

One can create their own GUI elements in it like buttons , sliders , checkboxes , List , dialog etc and even can write scriptable codes in them for different events. This just takes Simphy to a whole new level. It has its inbuilt sound engine to generate different frequency sounds. One can add images add sprites and also add animations as well on different actions.

SimPHy has its own scripting language that helps you to script on every objects that you create on every event that is occurring in its virtual world ( like on world update, collision, mouse pressed, released etc.). One can write just few lines of code in its scripting editor with intellisense to create small intuitive games.

The above feature just opens a whole new world of possibilities. But its not done yet. SimPHY also supports creation of #d simulations as well. One can directly import 3ds and obj models in its canvas. Add lights, material to them, Script them to behave as you want. it has inbuilt circuit, geometry simulator as well. Have no more space to write.
