What is Showout?

Showout is a VJ app for Linux. Load clips into scenes, mix them across four layers, and send the output fullscreen to a second display. You can use the crossfader and effects while playing, then adjust the four corners or use mesh warp to fit the image to your projection surface. Showout also supports MIDI mapping, external tempo and transport over OSC, and saving shows.

The current release is an x86_64 AppImage. It needs a Vulkan-capable GPU and supports HAP and short-GOP H.264/H.265 video. The Public Trial is free, needs no account, and has no time limit. Program Output is always watermarked, and this build does not accept license keys.
