ShieldIngress

ShieldIngress is a fully managed Web Application Firewall and ingress-control platform for websites and web applications. Traffic is routed through ShieldIngress's edge before it reaches the origin server, where it is inspected and filtered without requiring any code changes on the protected site.

Core protection includes a rule-based Web Application Firewall covering OWASP Top 10 attack classes (SQL injection, XSS, remote code execution, and others), IP and country-based access control with reusable saved country groups, and rate limiting that can be scoped by path, HTTP method, and country, with either a hard-deny or a non-blocking log-only mode for safely testing a new limit before enforcing it. A JavaScript bot challenge filters scripted traffic, and free auto-renewing SSL certificates are issued for every domain.

Additional platform features include automatic security header configuration, a real-time dashboard for traffic and WAF events, versioned configuration with side-by-side revision comparison and one-click rollback, and optional per-user two-factor authentication. All plans receive automatic email alerts for origin downtime and SSL renewal failures.

The Pro plan adds edge-side response caching, multi-server load balancing with health checks, and a staging environment for testing configuration changes before they reach production traffic.
