What is Shanbit?
Shanbit is a high-security, offline password generator designed for users who demand absolute privacy and zero digital footprint.
Important: Shanbit is NOT a password manager or a vault. It does not store, save, or sync your passwords. Why? Because what isn't stored cannot be hacked. Shanbit is a specialized entropy engine designed to generate cryptographically strong keys that leave zero traces on your system.
Unlike cloud-based managers, Shanbit operates under a Zero-Disk policy: it never saves data to your hard drive, leaving no traces for forensic analysis. Leveraging Shannon Entropy and the Diceware method, it generates cryptographically strong keys and passphrases that you can securely transfer to your mobile device via an encrypted QR code.
