There are eight alternatives to sendEmail for Windows, Linux, BSD, Xfce and Mac. The best alternative is mailsend-go, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like sendEmail are msmtp, sSMTP, blat and CMail.
mailsend-go is a command line tool to send mail via SMTP protocol. This is the golang incarnation of the C version of mailsend. However, this version is much simpler and all the heavy lifting is done by the package gomail.v2
