What is SE-TrayMenu?
Free portable tray launcher and hotkey manager that greatly increases your productivity. Lots ot layouts and color schemes will allow you customize popup menu appearance up to you. You can add various elements to your Windows system tray - programs, documents, folders or files, Internet links and set up shortcut keys to access these elements. You can dragndrop elements or add frequently used applications and installed programs. Clear interface with multiple languages support (English, Deutsch, Hungarian, Swedish and Russian) is customizable and easy-to-use. You can select one of pre-defined layout and color scheme or customize interface to your taste. Portable version of SE-TrayMenu is available and you can use it everywhere - just copy application executable file to your USB flash drive and work with program on any PC.

Developers statements "reads" more like a suspension than a "discontinued", especially when SE-DesktopApps (commercial) is till available, on the alleged discontinued list

As you can see on the official website http://se-soft.com/lang/en/ , development for SE-TrayMenu and the other SE-SOFT softwares has been stopped.
SE-TrayMenu last update was 7 weeks ago (according to this AlternativesTo web page)

Maybe you saw our changelog (https://alternativeto.net/software/se-traymenu/changes/): it only displays changes to the description, tags, links and so on made on AlternativeTo! I modified SE-TrayMenu page on September 19, explaining the program is discontinued. That's all :)
