Scribe is a tiny Mac tool that transcribes your calls and hands them to Claude or ChatGPT.
It listens on your Mac, so no bot joins the call, and it works with Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, FaceTime or anything else that plays through your speakers. Your microphone is "Me" and whatever your Mac plays is "Them", and the transcript appears as you talk. When the call ends, one click copies the transcript with a line of context and opens Claude or ChatGPT, so you just paste and ask.
It uses the speech recognizer built into macOS, so the app is about 2 MB with no dependencies and no model to download. Both sides are saved as separate audio files next to the transcript, so you can re-transcribe them later with anything you like. English is transcribed entirely on your Mac; for other languages macOS uses Apple's speech service.
It also works as a backup next to a meeting bot like Fathom or Granola, for the calls where the bot can't get in.
