Screenplay Editor turns Google Docs into a screenwriting tool. You type a character name, you press Enter, and you are already in dialogue. You press Tab, and you are in a parenthetical. Scene headings, action, dialogue, parentheticals and transitions format themselves while you write, like Final Draft or Arc Studio, without opening a menu.
It comes as a Chrome extension and as a Google Docs add-on. It exports to .fdx for Final Draft, numbers your scenes automatically, and shows your script as a printed page while you write.
Your producer and your co-writer stay in Google Docs, with comments and live co-writing. No proprietary file format, no 249 dollar licence, and your scripts never leave your Google Drive. It runs on any machine with a browser, including Chromebooks.
