Said about Screenfetch as an alternative
it's just better than anything and it's crossplatform; Windows - Linux
Screengetsch is a console tool like neofetch and displays the information in a similar way. I'm not quite sure which one I prefer, both have their advantages and disadvantages.
It functions almost exactly the same as neofetch.

It's output looks slightly neater and it gives out friendlier looking info for a mainstream beginner compared to neofetch. It indicates temperature, combines all packages to one total (neofetch splits them by source, thus being more informative), gives total storage used and CPU/GPU/OS names look friendlier. Neofetch is however more informative overall
