What is RuscaWriter?
A writing and typesetting program for Linux. Chapters, text and per-chapter notes side by side; you write in plain Markdown and the same program turns it into a finished book — justified PDF with hyphenation, table of contents and bookmarks, plus EPUB, DOCX, ODT and HTML. No plugins, no external converters.
It is not a Scrivener clone and does not try to be: there is no corkboard, no outliner with nested documents, no snapshots. It takes one idea — draft and typeset in the same place — and stops there.
A project file is a tar.gz of Markdown files, so the text can be recovered with ordinary tools even without the program. Free software, GPL v3.
