There aren't words to describe how bad this system is. It's slow, it's broken, it's spyware, it violates EU privacy policy, you can't delete an account or any data, and R* forces this on you if you want to play an offline game from 2008. Anyone involved with this should be shot, no trial.
The only way I ended up getting away from these bastards was by making a new gmail, directing the account to that and then deleting it, effectively cutting the head off the account that they refused for 3 months to delete.
