What is Risen.so?
Risen is a charting and alerting platform for stocks and crypto. It covers the full path from watching a symbol to placing an order: charts and indicators, alerts on any condition, strategies built from entry and exit rules, backtests against history, and automatic execution through your broker's API.
Alerts are built in the interface rather than in code. A single alert can combine multiple conditions with AND or OR logic, and can trigger on technical levels (moving averages, RSI, MACD), on drawings placed on the chart (trendlines, Fibonacci retracements, rectangles that move as price and time move), and on fundamental or event data (earnings beats and misses, insider transactions, 8-K filings). Alerts never expire on any plan, including the free one.
Strategies extend the same builder. Set the conditions that open a position and the conditions that close it, backtest the result over historical data with an equity curve and a trade list, then connect a broker so entries and exits fire automatically. Execution uses your own API keys with Alpaca, Tradier, Coinbase, and Kraken, or any webhook URL you control. Risen never holds funds or routes orders itself.
Notifications go to email, SMS, Discord, Telegram, or any HTTP endpoint.
Free tools that need no account: a portfolio analyzer that compares a book against the S&P 500 on total return, drawdown, correlation, and look-through ETF holdings; a stock screener; a crypto screener; an earnings calendar; and a market overview.
The free plan includes 5 alerts, 5 charts, 20 watchlist items, unlimited indicators per chart, unlimited historical data, and multi-condition, drawing-based, and indicator-based alerts. Pro is $7.99 per month or $79 per year and adds alert backtesting, automated strategies, SMS and webhook delivery, 400 alerts, 100 charts, and 200 watchlist items.
