ResourceSpace is described as 'open source Digital Asset Management system originally developed for Oxfam by UK company Montala Limited in 2006. Montala continue to manage the project in addition to providing commercial hosting, support and development services relating to the software' and is a Version Control system in the development category. There are eight alternatives to ResourceSpace, not only websites but also apps for a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, Linux and Self-Hosted solutions. The best alternative is ftrack. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Phraseanet or Pixelapse. Other great sites and apps similar to ResourceSpace are Shotgun, Razuna, TACTIC and MediaCMS.
