What is Remplate?

reMarkable's built-in template library has about 40 options. If none of them match how you work, you're stuck unless you want to SSH into the tablet and edit system files by hand.

Remplate is a Mac app that handles the transfer. Connect with the password shown in your tablet's settings, pick your PNG files, check the before/after preview, install. Your original templates stay untouched; yours get added alongside them.

Before sending anything, Remplate checks your images against the correct dimensions for your device model. What you see in the preview is what lands on the tablet. Firmware updates wipe custom templates (that's a reMarkable thing, not a Remplate thing), but Remplate keeps your set locally so you can reinstall in one click.
