Ref LeakLog is EPA refrigerant compliance software for small HVAC and refrigeration contractors in the United States. It records refrigerant additions as service events and computes leak rates against the category-specific thresholds set in 40 CFR Part 84, Subpart C.
When a threshold is exceeded, it automatically opens a repair action with the 30-day federal repair deadline and tracks the initial and follow-up verification tests that close it out. It generates the §84.106(g) follow-up inspection schedule, monitors running chronic-leaker totals against the 125% annual threshold, and exports audit-ready PDF records, including a customer records-handoff package per §84.106(l). Each unit can carry a QR tag for field lookup of its identity and service history.
