From the official website: "Red Dot has been temporarily removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store due to false claims that the app harms law enforcement. This is objectively untrue. Red Dot functions similarly to crowd-sourced speed trap warnings (like those in Apple Maps and Google Maps and Waze) that notify users of nearby police presence. The app remains down from both stores for the time being."
