Users can easily make calls from their native address book within the app, which displays current Rebtel rates and groups international contacts for easy viewing.
Rebtel also offers a low-cost SMS service for sending international texts to over 196 countries, with costs up to 60% lower than regular operators. It features a Collect Reply option where recipients can reply for free, with the sender paying the cost. Rebtel also has local numbers in over 50 countries, allowing users to make international calls using their operator's wireless plan minutes without needing a 3G data connection or Wi-Fi.

Rebtel is underrated. I used it a few years ago, on a regular basis when I was abroad & it was better than the competition. I used calling cards, google voice & others. Rebtel gave me the best rates & unlimited calls. With high speed broadband available everywhere, such apps are becoming obsolete.
