Comments and Reviews
Sync across devices, encrypted backups, and soon to have a MacOS browser OTP receiver.
Used to be a good application but as soon as they sold it and made it closed-source it's no longer trustworthy. Along with that, I lost all the MFA modes setup in the app during the update with no way for me to easily re-import my codes. I would not recommend using this any more.
New company been updating app on AppStore, but no change was made on github. You can call it closed-source now.
They removed issues tab on Github, and it seems also removed some ratings from Appstore.
App was updated today and now requires a subscription to import backup files. Moved to 2FA Authenticator. Stay away from this. It used to be god tier. No longer is. https://i.postimg.cc/MKRhpW3W/546da92f-78f2-4b6f-9202-ad3df0fa1ba3.png
Be aware; the license is a “source available” license, not an OSI approved license. Who cares, right? Well, you can see concern that ownership changed, and the project may be abandoned. So we should just fork it, right? Well, you can’t: “Modification, duplication, and (re)distribution of the Services in binary or published format ("Processed Format") for any purposes and/or reasons is strictly prohibited without the explicit permission from Raivo OTP.”
The sole maintainer of Raivo-OTP and its ecosystem has given the project to a company called Mobine. Since the takeover nothing has been done to the application or its ecosystem. There have been no pull requests or issues closed/resolved on the GitHub repositories.

Although it seems as if an OTP doesn't need to be packed with the latest and greatest the abandonment of the project has left me to search for something else that has activity.
Raivo was the best of the best on iOS before but it has been recently bought out by a shady company called Mobime. I don’t see this ending well for the integrity of the app and I suggest you move on to a more trusted app. Read more about it here: https://twitter.com/RaivoOTP/status/1683372954002808833?s=20
